... for the Love of the Horse
In Memory of
Okaw’s Midnight Lace
April 2, 1983 - September 27, 2015
Lace was a very special part of Independence Stable for many years. She was an accomplished show horse, helping riders earn ribbons in saddleseat, huntseat, dressage, and equitation. Lace's sweet and gentle disposition made her a barn favorite. She was beloved by all for her beauty, kindness, and spirit and will be sadly missed.
Treasure has been a part of Independence Stable for many years. She is now owned by Deb B., who has been learning western dressage and enjoying trail rides with her. Treasure is a great example of Morgan versatility, having been shown successfully in saddleseat, huntseat, western pleasure, equitation, pleasure driving, and dressage.

Mind Your Manners
Mandy, Lace's daughter, is Dottie’s special horse. She is talented, sweet and fun-loving and likes nothing better than to be at the center of attention. She is a carriage horse, a trail horse, a dressage horse, and a line dancer!
